Critical reception
The album received a mixed-to-negative response from critics, garnering a rating of 4.5 out of 10 from reviews aggregator Any Decent Music?.[7]
Chart performance
Compared to the #2 and #1 peak positions of the band's previous two albums, Together We Were Made reached #22 on the UK Albums Chart on its first week, selling 7,404 copies. In its second week, it fell to #71.[8]
